Frequently asked questions
Common questions about reminders, platform integrations, accounts and billing — answered here.
Which subscriptions are supported?
VPS / cloud servers, domains, AI services, streaming, software — any subscription can be added manually; platforms with a webhook can also connect automatically.
How does it remind me before a renewal?
Based on the lead time you set per subscription, a reminder lands in your inbox before the due date; marking it “Renewed” clears it and schedules the next cycle automatically.
Do disabled subscriptions still remind me?
No. Disabling stops future reminders here, but does not change vendor billing. Cancel auto-renew at the original provider.
How do I manage many machines / subscriptions at once?
The list supports shift / ctrl (cmd) multi-select, plus long-press to enter selection mode on mobile, with bulk disable / delete.
Which AI services are supported?
Built-in templates for Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor, GitHub Copilot and more auto-fill category, cycle and currency; any other AI service can be added manually.
Do I need to install an agent to connect platform alerts?
No. Renewal reminders are entered manually; alert integration just needs one webhook URL we give you configured in your monitoring / platform — zero code.
Does it support Prometheus?
Yes. With built-in Alertmanager parsing, just add a webhook receiver in Alertmanager pointing at our URL (your Prometheus rules stay untouched): firing creates a to-do, and resolved auto-closes the matching to-do by fingerprint.
Do to-dos auto-close when an alert recovers?
Yes. After a resolved event arrives, status and fingerprint close the matching to-do, reducing recovered-alert residue. The sender should still monitor delivery.
What happens during an alert flood?
Inbound webhooks have per-minute limits and a 256KB body cap, and excess events are dropped. This reduces exhaustion risk but source-side grouping, inhibition, and monitoring are still required.
Besides webhook push, are there other ways to connect?
Yes. In addition to platforms pushing to us (webhook), we also support scheduled polling (pull): we periodically GET your endpoint and read a count, with SSRF protection.
How do I sign in — is registration required?
Sign in once with your Tutu account (Tutu SSO), or register on its own with email. No install, ready to use.
How are sensitive credentials protected?
Upstream authentication such as HTTP Pull settings is encrypted server-side with AES-256-GCM and read APIs do not return its plaintext. Webhook URLs or tokens shown in Connections are also credentials and should be rotated after exposure.
Do I need to link a payment method / will it charge me automatically?
No, and no. TutuYes does not charge you. You may optionally record management metadata such as a payment-method name, type, or last four digits; never enter a full card number, CVV, or payment password.
Is it free?
Core subscription and to-do management is currently available free; use the current Pricing page as the source for plans and capabilities.
Does it support multiple currencies?
Yes. Set a currency per subscription, with estimated monthly spend tracked separately by currency.
